Will the branding encourage poor behavior?

A statement made by a member of the public suggested that the tag line “The Best Times of Your Life” would encourage poor behavior by students.

The tag line represents the Brand Statement that was prepared for Downtown State College.  This brand statement does address students, but places the emphasis on students becoming adults, forming lifelong memories and building a community they would be proud to return to as alumni.  The brand statement goes on to address our local and regional residents, encouraging them to explore our unique collection of locally-owned shops and restaurants, high-quality library, theatres and schools, and the walkable atmosphere of downtown.  It aims to celebrate the vibrancy of downtown and highlight the opportunities for downtown to evolve as a place that people can live, work and play.
