Borough of State College Announces the Launch of the 2018 Annual Report
State College, Pa - The Borough of State College is excited to announce the launch of the 2018 Annual Report, a comprehensive guide that will inform the community on all the organization's accomplishments, as well as changes within the community.
State College’s mission is to enhance the quality of life by fostering a safe, vibrant, diverse and sustainable community; by providing quality, innovative, cost-effective services; and by allocating resources efficiently with professionalism, integrity, transparency and accountability. The 2018 Annual Report reflects on the 2018 accomplishments and how each of those met the safety, vibrancy, diversity and sustainability goals mentioned in the Mission Statement, while also being eye-catching and interesting to read.
In the 2018 Annual Report, readers will find stories on new items in 2018 such as Engage State College, the State College Municipal Quarterly Newsletter and the Highlands Residential Parking Pilot Program. You can learn about State College Borough being recognized as a Platinum Certified Sustainable Municipality.There are several examples of infrastructure updates to create a safer community and community conversations around diversity, equity and inclusion. Some notable 2018 projects include Operation Safe Stop, The National Citizen SurveyTM and Council Chambers technology updates.
